A New home for creativity and community
30,000 Feet
Founded in 2013, 30,000 Feet empowers youth through programs grounded in arts, culture, and social justice. The organization helps young people dream big, build essential skills, and reach new heights in their personal and academic journeys.
With the opening of its new creative studio in October, students now have access to a state-of-the-art environment where they can explore coding, digital media, visual art, and culturally relevant education. The space features professional-grade tools and software for recording, mixing, animation, and more, — providing a powerful platform for creative expression and technical skill-building.
This milestone was supported through a MEDA loan and the collaboration of many partners, including development grants, the State of Minnesota, and the Metropolitan Council.
Special recognition goes to Best Buy for designing and equipping the technology center, and to Shaw-Lundquist & Associates for transforming the vision into reality.
In celebration of the organization’s impact, the Office of St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter proclaimed the day 30,000 Feet Day in the city.
Congratulations to co-founders Kevin Robinson and Vanessa Young, along with the entire team, for creating a vibrant space where creativity, culture, and community can soar.
