Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator will work with the Chief Development Officer and MEDA’s creative agency in supporting the marketing department’s initiatives.  This position will develop and execute email marketing campaigns for events, outreach, and customer acquisition.  They will ensure the quality and volume of traffic to MEDA’s website and write effective content for blogs, websites, and social media accounts. 


Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns for events, outreach, and customer acquisition.

  • Manage social media channels –LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

  • Execute promotional campaigns.

  • Ensure the quality and volume of web traffic to Meda’s website by employing proven SEO techniques.

  • Write effective SEO content for blogs, websites, and social media.

  • Conduct analysis and prepare reports as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with Meda’s creative agency.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, including traditional, digital, and social media. 

  • Proven track record of success in using SEO practices to drive the most valuable traffic.

  • Excellent writing and copy-editing skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web analytics.

  • Working knowledge of HTML and design software.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms –Linked In, Facebook, Twitter. 

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively.

 Preferred Qualifications:

·      Previous experience using Salesforce and Pardot.

Physical Requirements:

This job operates in an office setting and is primarily a passive role.  Occasional travel can be expected.   Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.


Salary Range $58,000-$69,000 DOE
