Lucilla Dávila

Alma Flor Ada Spanish Immersion Early Learning Academy is a bilingual early childhood program that provides real authentic Spanish immersion experiences with Spanish literacy, culture, and traditions. Named after the award-winning children’s book author, Dr. Alma Flor Ada, the early learning center provides a bi-literate learning environment for children ages 24 months through Kindergarten.

“MEDA has taken Alma Flor Ada to another level.”

Lucilla Dávila

Originally from San Juan Puerto Rico, founder Lucilla Dávila was raised bilingual in English & Spanish. With a decades-long career in education, Dávila saw a need for bi-literate early learning. When Dávila sought partners to finance a state-of-the-art facility, she found MEDA’s team ready to support with capital. And with support from MEDA’s Ascend program, Dávila is engaging and vetting potential distribution partners for her line of educational tools.
