Our Goal

MEDA’s mission of “Helping BIPOC Entrepreneurs succeed” is as relevant today as it was at our founding 51 years ago — perhaps even more so. Our goal is to scale our solutions to the size of a problem. Through the scaled delivery of business consulting, commercial lending, and contract matchmaking, MEDA is building a more just, fairer economy that works for all.

The MEDA Million Dollar Challenge

MEDA hosted the Third Meda Million Dollar Challenge in 2021, where more than 200 businesses across the country applied to participate in the challenge. MEDA’s team of experts selected twelve finalists to participate in the Bootcamp for Successful Pitches, who then pitched them to MEDA’s panel of judges.
